Finally documented the process of adding parallax occlusion mapping to Dark Souls Remastered for my Dark Souls Re-Remastered mod. POM (as the kids say) is a neat visual trick to add perceived geometric complexity to flat surfaces. It's essentially like a super normal map lol. It's been quite the journey to figure all of it out, since QLOC only used it on a handful of surfaces in Undead Burg and then never again.
