8The Bastille has been fairly enjoyable so far, but I can't say the same for the UNDERGROUND PRISON SEWER that we find ourselves in today. Between the mummies and the giant scorpion men, I just want to get out of here. And what are they even keeping down here? Oh, it's the first Great Soul.
Dark Souls 2 is the 2014 continuation of the Souls series, which defined a genre of action RPGs full of difficult situations and mystery. As a cursed undead we are unable to die permanently, and will eventually lose our minds and become Hollow. Keeping our wits about us, we must explore the fallen kingdom of Drangleic to either find a cure, or a purpose. Every death is a lesson.
