This is a quick navigational guide on where to find Flexile Sentry, how to create a shortcut, and how to summon Lucatiel of Mirrah to help you.

Starting from bonfire: Unseen Path to Heide (No-man's Wharf)

To summon Lucatiel, you must first find her (0:33) and exhaust her dialogue options.

Then you must ring the bell (1:08) to gain access to the boss arena. It brings the ship where the Flexile Sentry is located.

Then, you are advised to knock down the bridge (1:32) to use it a shortcut.

Lucatiel's Summon Sign can be seen near the ship (1:43). Remember that it will not spawn if you're hollowed; use a Human Effigy to restore your Humanity.

Then it's just a matter of going to the boss arena (2:07).

I obviously took out enemies in advance to make for a smoother video. If anyone's wondering, I lit the area by using a Pharros Lockstone somewhere (turn right at 0:26 and you'll see it on the floor beneath a Varangian archer), which also incapacitates Darkdwellers. Not really worth it. I only did that for the video.
