"Undead Purgatory: Executioner's Chariot Boss"—Located in a cathedral in Huntsman Copse, which is accessed via the long overhead bridge, this boss consists of a pair of deadly horses that drive the Executioner's chariot. It will continually cycle through the chamber, until you reach a lever to stop its movement. While you strive to reach it, armored skeletons are spawned by two sorcerers. You must take them out to stop the skeleton respawns. Once the lever is released, the horses are engaged in battle.
The Chloranthy Ring (+2 on NG+) and the soul of the Executioner's Chariot is received for defeating this boss. This soul can be traded with Straid Of Olaphis (in the Lost Bastille) to obtain the Chariot Lance and/or Shield Crossbow at the cost of 1,500 Souls. Access to the Brotherhood of Blood covenant is gained afterwards, as well.
