Dark Souls 2 - Where to find the Dull Ember and How to Infuse Weapons
2,142The Dull Ember is an item needed by Steady Hand McDuff, the Blacksmith, so that he can infuse weapons. Once you give it to him, you'll be able to infuse your weapons with elements, making them very effective against certain enemies. The possible infusions include: Magic, Fire, Lightning, Dark, Poison, Bleed, Raw, Enchanted, Mudane, and of course the ability to clear any existing infusions. The Dull Ember is located in the Iron Keep. To reach the Iron Keep, you have to go through Huntsman's Copse, Harvest Valley, and Earthen Peak. Do note that the enemies in the keep are no joke and there's a good chance you'll die just attempting to get the ember if you're not sufficiently leveled.
All recordings are on Xbox 360 using a Hauppauge HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition or using Xsplit on a custom gaming PC built by Cowboy himself.
