From the Vordt of the Boreal Valley Bonfire in High Wall of Lothric, place the Small Lothric Banner received from Emma at the cliff's edge ahead to trigger a cutscene warping you to the Undead Settlement by the bonfire. You will find here Yorel of Londor, and if you don’t come see him immediately, he eventually carks it here on the bridge and vanishes forever - closing off an ending. Accept the former sorcerer’s service to transport him to Firelink Shrine; look for him at the far end of the side tunnel to the left as facing Andre. He’ll give you the Beckon emote if you chat with him, and sells you some nice early sorcery spells. He has one other unique function: periodically, up to five times, he’ll offer to “draw out” your “true strength”. This amounts to a free level up.
