There are two ways to farm large titanite shards in Dark Souls Archthrones Demo. I used this method to farm enough shards to +6 my weapon and I am going to test how much better the bosses feel with it.
1. From the Ivory Tower Bonfire follow the path down and run to the Javelin Follower and they have a chance to drop a large titanite shard (not recommended)
2. From the Forsaken Encampment Bonfire, kill the Sabre & Shield Follower for a chance to get a farmable large titanite shard. (recommended)
