Dark Souls: How to beat Havel - the easy way!
10Havel packs a punch, doesn't he? But you don't have to fight him at all, there's an easier way to get rid of him and grab his ring. Just run up the stairs. As someone in my chat said, "Havel is heavy and has weak knees".
Note: he's likely to land on your head when he falls, so keep some estus flasks handy (you'll have enough time to heal, although he moves faster than you'd expect). You may not even realise he's dead, because you can't see his health bar.
Anyway, this is the low-cost way to win this fight if you don't fancy tackling him in melee combat (and, as you can see, I didn't get very far with this method). Good luck!
