This trick is incredibly helpful early on, as the experience you rack up like this is much higher than simply progressing through the game normally for an average player.

For an experienced player, you probably already know the trick, and even if you didn't, you probably do get more experience by normally fast running through bosses and what-not. So have in mind that this trick is intended for noobies out there who are having problems with the gargoyles/knights in the area.

If you are going to do the trick, do it while hollow; not human. It seems that you have a much higher chance of being invaded while doing this trick than by simply playing the game; so be mindful of that. Just become hollow and you won't be bothered by other players.
