Welcome to Lord Fussington's Walkthrough of Dark Souls, "Part 2 of Artorias of the Abyss (DLC)."

In this video, I, Lord Fussington, do battle with and defeat the boss, Knight Artorias. I found him difficult, but through trial and error, memorizing his moveset, maintaining distance, depending on dodging rather than block, and only counter-attacking, I haven't any doubt that a victory is imminent for those of you who have been struggling.

To reiterate certain points in the video regarding the strategy that I used:

- Rely on dodging rather than blocking.
- Keep your distance; let him come to you.
- There are three excellent opportunities to attack (the rest, though unlisted, are just as viable, but riskier):
1) Dodge his massive leap attack and respond by hitting him in the face.
2) Dodge his gliding thrust attack and respond by hitting him in the face.
3) When he is powering up, interrupt him by hitting him in the face.

Note: I recommend the face, but the body is fine and probably more accessible. Also, if you're low on health, those times are great opportunities to heal.

- In terms of dodging, I wait until he is just about to make contact; if I'm consistent at all, it's a result of memorizing his moveset and fighting him over and over again. It's really just practice to get the timing right; I'm sure you'll do fine.

Other than Artorias, there are several Stone Guardians and Scarecrows that I kill whilst I promenade through the Royal Wood. Oh, and we meet Elizabeth in the Oolacile Sanctuary and Marvellous Chester near the boss fog gate.
