Dark Summit (ダークサミット, Dāku Samitto, "Dark Summit") is an action-adventure game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by THQ for the GameCube. It was originally released in Japan on November 27, 2002, and in North America on December 10, 2001.
In Dark Summit, players assume the role of a snowboarder exploring a mysterious mountain resort called Mt. Garrick. The military has mysteriously closed the mountain and are desperately to drive boarders off the mountain. The snowboarder must uncover the mystery and expose the conspiracy shrouded at the summit.
The game combines snowboarding gameplay with elements of exploration and mission-based objectives. Players must navigate treacherous slopes, perform tricks, and uncover the secrets of the mountain while encountering various characters and challenges along the way.
The game's soundtrack was composed by a team of composers, including Allan Levy, Marc Baril, and Adam Gejdes.
