DARK TUNDRA PLANETS - Starbound: Frackin Universe Mod
2It’s time to explore the Dark Tundra! Which, apparently, is not very dark….until you get below the surface, into a Nitrogen Sea where all sound cuts out, leaving you drifting listlessly down in a semi-translucent sea of extreme cold, surrounded by some of the most alien-looking of fish! Maybe THAT’S what they meant by “dark” and not literal dark!
Like the normal Tundra planets, these contain a multitude of ice-based blocks, critters, and ores (such as Ferozium Ore). Beneath the icy surface, however, lies a deep Nitrogen Sea, so you can either gather fish there or continue downward until you reach the seabed, where you can continue to dig. Apex really enjoy this world, but you’ll also find a few haunted mansions in the Hylotl style.
