Shep’s burn’em out is a ,,stress-DoT“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Man at arms (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - guardian
2nd: Houndmaster (dodge trinkets) - stress dealer
3rd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
4th: Vestal (stun trinket + accuracy trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great stress output
3) Great DoT output
4) Great healing potential
5) 3 stunners
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 guardians
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Marks are a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
Shep’s burn’em out is a stress team with great strength of DoT and little bit of pure damage. You have 3 (self)healers, 3 stunners, 2 disruptors and 2 guardians. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „the finishers“, „mix damage + stress“, „original setup“ and „porcupine“. I tried both variantions of Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), both variantions are good. And also both variantions of Man at arms (damager / stresser), it’s better to stick with damage variantion.
My advice: Start with one of your stunners (Vestal / Abomination), next use Man at arms to protect your backline (or in case of mark team, protect the marked character). Lastly Houndmaster for applying DoT.
On paper this team looks very nice, unfortunately I didn’t have much luck against some players. 3 defeats against darkest players with a decent teams (1 mark team, 1 DoT team, 1 Goliath team with Musketeer). The big problem’s you don’t have much pure damage output (only Abomination and Man at arms, if you give him skill „Crush“). It’s not a bad team, but neither good - at least for me. This was kinda… mid.
