The Shunned is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Leper (Retarius‘ net + damage trinket) - damage dealer
2nd: Hellion (accuracy trinket + damage trinket) - deathblow dealer
3rd: Grave robber (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Plague doctor (stress trinket + accuracy trinket) - healer
PROS:
1) Debuff synergy (Plague doctor + Hellion)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) DoT is a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
4) Marks are a menace
5) Disruption is a menace
6) RNGsus is a menace
The Shunned is a damage team with great strength of stress and DoT. You have 3 (self)healers, 2 disruptors and 2 deathblowers. Unfortunately this team is vulnerable against every possible team.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „double finisher“, „full stress“, „full DoT“ and „full damage“. Can’t surely say, which versions are better (damager / stresser) for Hellion, Grave robber and Plague doctor, because all of them are not good, maybe only stresser Grave robber.
My advice: Leper’s skill „Purge“ is MUST HAVE. Without it, you will lose. Start with this skill, after that it’s up to you, if you use Plague doctor or Hellion for stressing/dealing damage. Lastly Grave robber for applying DoT.
What a bad team. First things first, it’s nice that you have 3 great damagers, but if opponent would have disruptors, be prepared for suffering. I lost 3x, twice against darkest players with a decent teams and once against apprentice player - RNGsus won’t let me made the final blow to his team. Healing situation - 3 healers, but bad (2 self healers, 1 with low range). Debuff synergy - not worthy. DoT and damage - with disruption in your team, you cannot deal great amount of it. What’s really sad, I tried to prevent deathblows for my team, only once I did it. Bad team, but with great amount of luck, you can beat even harder opponents. Still, I don’t recommend this team.
