After waiting for Darkest Dungeon 2 to finally get off of the Epic Games Store and fully release on Steam, I can finally play some Darkest Dungeon 2!

Going from DD1 to DD2, they change the dynamic of the game quite a bit. Units are not as expendable compared to the previous game and must be cared for until the end of a confession run. Instead of building up your Estate with each save file, you work on game-wide meta progression with job unlocks and upgrades, unlocking trinkets and other items, and upgrading mid-run progression bonuses to make runs easier or more profitable. Also the RNG has been more streamlined to not have evasion or accuracy values. Everything has 100% accuracy unless you have a token for dodges or blinds which halve accuracy making accuracy values more consistent (100%, 50%, 25%, etc. instead of 89%, 33%, 64%, etc.)

So far, I'm having fun with Darkest Dungeon 2 with all these changes in goals and mechanics.
