Darkstalkers Resurrection Replay - "An (Unfavorable) First Time-Over (Halloween Special)"
The aspect that had driven me the most to explore the Darkstalkers series the most was Jedah Dohma, the demon lord whose ambition is to fuse all souls into a single pure being known as the Shintai located within the Majigen. It was in Project X Zone when I first met the character (and had a proper introduction to some other characters in the series). He didn't really mean too much to me at first (although I loved the way he said "Kayaku conjo", or "contract completion" in Japanese), but it was Chapter 39 when he had to be fought to stop the salvation of souls is where he left a strong impression on me. The notion that he made an anatomical stage was enough to make him amazing in my mind (very few individuals I know have done that). Some time after finishing that game, I became curious as to what the Darkstalkers series was like, and I was immediately hooked once I watched the video titled "This is How You DON'T Play Darkstalkers Resurrection" (as embarrassing as that might be)." I've been researching him (and the series) ever since.
At this point, I still wasn't quite used to playing other people yet, in spite of how much I knew the control scheme to execute his special and EX moves and being the only character that I've completed all five chapters of Tutorials (at the time of this upload) was with Jedah. However, most of my matches online would be against fairly-skilled Demitri users, which annoy me very much since I find their usage of Chaos Flares, Demon Cradles, Bat Spins, crouching kick combos, and ground dashes to be very difficult to punish/counter. Basically, I was too nervous to try just about anything towards him, so my "Stay-Away-From-Him" mentality caused the match to be prolonged to the point of time expiration (though I got a bit careless at the end due to sudden urgency). I should stop relying on his fierce and strong as much; whilst they are good range and priority moves, they will become predicable after a bit.
