DasTactic plays SHADOW EMPIRE Preview S1~07 Recon Buggys
96SHADOW EMPIRE is a game currently in development and due for release in June 2020. I am so excited to be able to preview this game and I get goose-bumps every time I start playing. It is one of my most highly anticipated game of 2020. The immersion is incredible and the mechanics are really solid.
This first series is played on a small rocky planetoid (small dimension with open plains for rapid movement) so it shouldn’t take too many turns to play out. The premise is that the planetoid was a mining oeration that was caught up in a devastating galactic war that left society all but destroyed. Now the survivors are scrambling together and are vying to dominance on the planet. The planet is full of free-folk settlements and there are caches of old Galactic Republic equipment (high-tech prior to the war). Think Mad Max meets Dune.
