At first, I found Bellara as annoying, but with her brother Cyrian, she grew on me with her personality and the drive to win her brother back. Once he's killed by Anaris however, her ditsy side tones down a lot and she's now one of my favorite companions. Her brother's death had me choke a little bit honestly and I'm glad that Bellara shows another deep side to her.
