David Fincher to Direct Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood Sequel Netflix - Brad Pitt Return
What appeared to be an April Fools joke has seemingly been confirmed as legit. Quentin Tarantino's scrapped 10th film The Movie Critic has been reworked by the writer and is now being directed by David Fincher for the streaming service Netflix.
Brad Pitt will return to the role of Cliff Booth in the sequel to Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Tarantino has intended to direct the movie himself but for unknown reasons decided to bow out. We can speculate that he didn't want The Movie Critic to be his final movie and his final movie to be a sequel.
As of yet not much is known about the project or even if it follows the same script or story as The Movie Critic. We only know that Pitt will be reprising the role of Cliff Booth, for which he won an Academy Award for Best supporting actor, and that David Fincher will direct the project for Netflix, where he has a first look deal with the streaming platform.
Is this an April fool's joke or a legit story? Let me know your thoughts and if you are excited...
