0While I thought I had found the reason for the dwindling food reserves, it turns out there were more problems causing this. Like running out of sickles, partially caused by the programmed detoriation, partially caused because I used the obsolete ones as currency for a trader.
Since I got the work station build again to get the skins and leather outfits as emergency clothing, I decided to put the flint sickles back into production as emergency tool as well.
I also decided to re-introduce the bronze tool production again to get myself some bronzen sickles as extras.
And to make sure I got a good supply of iron, I've opened a third iron mine, but not until the deep mining technology was unlocked.
On top of that I also build second watermill, which was immediately showing me its use. I do hope that all of that was enough to get enough sickles crafted. Hopefully it's also enough to harvest all the grain I planted and thus turn the lowering food reserve around. Although I do think that a second oven will be needed at some point as well. But we'll see about that in the future.
