Today I began learning SQL (Structured Query Language) using PostgreSQL, one of the most popular open-source database systems.

Here's what I covered:

🔹 What is SQL and why it's used in data analysis

🔹 Types of SQL Statements:

DDL (Data Definition Language) – CREATE, ALTER, DROP

DML (Data Manipulation Language) – INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE

DCL (Data Control Language) – GRANT, REVOKE

TCL (Transaction Control Language) – COMMIT, ROLLBACK

DQL (Data Query Language) – SELECT

Understanding these categories will help in writing structured, optimized, and secure SQL queries.
