Hey Everyone, Altered Calyx here and we're partying in King Arthur: Knight's Tale. We're on Day 13 and today we decided to take some time for ourselves and went on a stress-free mission. We unlocked a Level 8 side mission last time to recruit The Black Knight and this mission was like a breath of fresh air compared to that Sir Bedivere recruitment mission. We even got an achievement for not using any potions, campfires, or shrines. I'm sure it helped that my party was a tiny bit over leveled for the mission :D

And to finish off the night we had another go at recruiting Sir Bedivere - third night's a charm, right?. We switched up the party comp yet again: We went in with Mordred, Kay, Guinevere, and Merlin. I intended to use the Duel option and make the last fight easier, but I was feeling strong in the dungeon and chose not to duel. Merlin was definitely a better pick over Ector. You know I love my Fire-y Blast AoE goodness, but Ector's bleed hex was useless and Merlin had 2 pseudo crowd control abilities: Illusion and Mind Fog. Also, I'm a fan of Merlin's Fire bolt because it burns the enemies. Also Also, I took the skill that splits Fire Bolt into 3 missiles. Were all those changes successful? Spoiler alert: YES!! Kinda sad there was no achievement for such a difficult fight, but it was so satisfying to finaly conquer the mission!!
