October recognizes Down Syndrome Awareness Month. During the month, events take place not only raise to raise awareness but to shine a light on the abilities and dreams of those with Down Syndrome. Down Syndrome Awareness Month seeks to break down barriers and focus on promoting advocacy for people with Down syndrome..

It’s also Caffeine Addiction Recovery Month, for those of us who are having problems due to lockdown, isolation…or just love of caffeine.

And, if you need a break from all the seriousness of the world right now, October is also National Chili Month, National Cookie Month, National Roller Skating Month and National Past Month. Whatever works for you!
