Days of Doom - Zombie Sanctuary [PS5 Gameplay]
3Checking out the game Days of Doom on PS5, a roguelite set in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies have taken over! Your goal? To reach the safe haven, but to get there you'll need to fight the zombie hordes. Team up with other like-minded individuals and slowly work your way there!
I make it at least through the first map here, and to the boss of the second. It was at first tough for me to tell which spots were the fights, but I quickly figured it out. It's nice that there is a sense of permanence between runs, though to make any real progress it does look like you'll need a bunch of runs to do so. It does start to feel really overwhelming on some fights, where enemies are just beating on you for a ton of damage. I couldn't quite see how to gain the permanent experience however.
Building up each character is done on a per-run basis, at least at the start (from what I can find)! This will help you delve deeper into getting good builds for everyone.
Overall, if you're looking for something that's not a card game but sorta like Slay the Spire, check out Days of Doom! Each character seems to have its own niche use - such as the Fighter having more health, the gunslinger being able to set oil on fire, and the Hydromancer being able to draw things in.
