Hello! I was playing Daytona USA Deluxe then I started thinking on Hornet new mediocre design. I then started going around the game directory. I then found some interesting files (plcar##.tex and .mdl) and tryed swapping plcar01 (Hornet) with plcar09 (Daytona) files and it worked! There also are some plcar2# files that are intended to use with 2-Player mode. What happens is that Hornet now looks like Daytona car! (Or the Original Hornet car) I also swapped the 2-Player files and it works too. (If you dont do it, the car will look normal in 2P VS) I also tried with Maxi with the same good results. (Not on the video) The cars keep their respective stats, and thats why the "Original Hornet" on the title. While changing cams, it can be seen that the cockpit view isn't changed with the fileswap.

Out of curiosity, I also tried swapping the .tex file but not the .mdl file and this happened: http://postimg.org/image/s5g2dhx8t/

If anyone knows how to modify the bmp files on the folders of the game, or the tex files, tell me!

(The custom music was done with a custom iso with changed music. The music actually plays from the game.)

EDIT: You can also change the 2P car files with the normal ones. You can either get higher-poly and better looking cars on 2P or blockier and less detailed cars on Arcade, Time Attack, etc.
