A video detailing what options may help those of you that are experiencing FPS issues. Please note I am by no means a technician, this is just what works for me and it should work for most others. Please note this is quite old (Alpha 1.7.1) but should still work.

Warning!!! Back-up your config files, I am not responsible if any damaged is caused to your game or saves, use at your own risk!

Advanced Optimization = Open your ArmA2.cfg and ArmA2OA.cfg (you can find this manually in your ArmA2 and ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead folder, or by typing "%username%/ArmA2.cfg" + "%username%/ArmA2OA.cfg", without the " ofc.) and change these settings :-

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1

This may increase your FPS up to 25%

Computer specs at time of recording:-

Motherboard = GA-970A-DS3
Processor = AMD FX 4170 Quad-Core (4 CPUs@4.2GHz)
RAM = 8192MB (Only recognizes 3750MB due to 32-bit OS)
Graphics = AMD Radeon HD 6600 series (6670) 2GB dedicated

Please note the video quality is not great as it is due to the converter I am using (it's bloody useless :(.). The point of this video is mainly FPS and not quality although with most settings on high/very high, other then the ones mentioned should be disabled, will be better quality overall.
