Here is a text guide for those interested.

1. Download ARMA 2 and Operation Arrowhead on steam
2. After they are downloaded, run them for the first time to install any prerequisite files
3. Go to the DayZ website and download all of the mod files
4. Make a new folder called "@DayZ" in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead (This location may change on some PC's)
5. Inside the folder you just created (@DayZ) make a new folder called Addons. Your folder should look like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@dayz\addons
6. Copy and paste all of the addon files then extract them to the folder
8. Go to Steam and right click on ARMA II Operation Arrowhead, go to properties, set launch options then type in "-mod=@dayz -nosplash" without the "" and click ok
9. Run the game and select Launch ARMA 2: Combined Operations

That's it, you can filter the servers now to see DayZ! :D
