DBFZ Advanced Synergy Tag team combo video .. Vegito, Gohan, Goku, expert
403So ya I didn't realize I already had so much on tape just for these 3 guys so lets give them their own specific video. You know some people have wanted me to do specific team videos who knows maybe ill do that... maybe... Also still cant get that one huge combo vs broly/nappa/ginyu/majin buu but it gives me something to strive for so will see.. Anyway a few notes for this specific team and in general perhaps...
In terms of synergy...
For non smash tags and tags where relevant generally speaking..
For vegito if you yourself is in the corner exactly(where we can do the link jab combo ive showed in my solo videos)or you have your opponent in the corner exactly theres no real reason to switch as he can do more damage this way. Also of note these combos tend to be long enough that optimization wise you arent even able to do the idea of vanish throw to goku beam dragon rush etc that is probably a more common idea. Also of note most of vegitos optimal combos actually do not have you high enough in the air to hit this either.
However mid screen and else where unless you are thinking specifically of meter although vegito can certainly go coast to coast no problem with many set ups ive showed. Its almost always theorectically better to get him out, auto combo, orb, laser sword, doesnt matter, in every situtuation there should be a option for you that is better to get vegito out as soon as possible. Although I do show it he can of course non smash off his stand light as well, although its just shown cuz its kinda neat, and in general its not worth it to go for.
Although of course I showed it for fun(or I think I did I forget all the videos I did lol)generally speaking switching into vegito has no huge benifit over what you probably could have done yourself or just using a assist. Unlike the flip side where switching out when you have vegito is much more useful in many situtions.
Of course one thing I really wanted to show off in this video is all the different ways you can link off his level 1 super. Of course double supers with it are common and great for TOD/ish combos. In situations you can actually link after his super. Most noticably if you do gokus foward super. Now of course this does do less than the upwards, but if you do the forward you generally have 3 options. If they are very low on stun(very unlikely)a link light to combo, have some more stun(situtionally likely), a jump to air combo, and a high stun a rapid kick to super. Which is more likely but still even just this will do more damage than some options.
Whatever the case IF we are thinking about the game being played to its out most limit, depending on what meter you have where you are stun wise, this actually is the best option.
Other characters, obviously gohan if you can bomb loop do it, I think its pretty obvious what you do with him and where to switch.
Goku is obviously generally the best character to switch into when it doubt as he is the most versatile and you have the most option for damaging combos and he is just much better than gohan and vegito in that department.
For gohan or if youre in the corner better to keep him in and go for the TOD routes ive showed before in other videos. And for goku if you have the dude in the corner go for your max solo thing. However if you yourself are in the corner probably wouldnt hurt to switch out and go for coast to coast stuff with the other dudes from various set ups or using assists.
