After the Blue Beetle director attacked the fans for criticising the line "Batman's a fascist!" that was in the initial trailer, he has since changed his tune, apologising to the audience without actually saying as much.

We all know why he is doing this, I think James Gunn has had a talk with Soto after the absolute disaster that The Flash was at the box office; Gunn needs his DCU to have a great start and for Superman: Legacy to be a success with David Corenswet so Blue Beetle needs to keep the fans engaged with this universe and continuity going forward.

However, is the fan backlash hinting at something else? With the likes of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny being potentially Disney's biggest flop and The Flash DC's, will Hollywood be able to return to its former glory after their social justice woke agenda has been exposed?
