DC Multiverse - Lex Luthor Power Suit (New 52) - McFarlane Toys Action Figure Review
Yet another Lex Luthor released by McFarlane toys, this time, in the New 52 Era, where he wore his Iconic green and purple colored battle suit.
An amazing head sculpt on the figure, Lex Luthor has a great looking head sculpt, and a finely detailed armor, that could have really used a dark wash over it, to bring out the details.
McFarlane put a lot of love into the sculpt, but it all starts to bend together, lost in the neon green and purple, just a little shadowing would go a long way with most sculpts these days.
For the accessories, unlike the Darkseid version, we don't get a throne, just a pair of alternate hands. a bit of a shame, a flight stand would have been a great addition to Lex Luthor.
While this is the 2nd Lex Luthor figure McFarlane released, its unique enough from the other version, the head, chest and paint being new.
The articulation is what we would expect from a human sized figure as well, with most of the armor being made of a soft plastic, even while it doesn't get in the way anyways.
This version of Luthor is the one to get, unless you really want that throne chair, so check out the other review if you cant decide!
