DCC Fitting Guide: Installing The Digitrax DN163K1C Decoder Board Into A Kato GE ES44AC
1Here is my DCC fitting guide and how to install a Digitrax DN163K1C DCC decoder board into a Kato GE Tier 2 ES44AC GEVO model train in N scale as it is a direct swap out. This is quite a simple process but care needs to be taken to avoid bending the contacts near the motor. This is my second how to DCC guide on a Kato N scale model train. I plan to do more how to videos as I gain more experience with other Digitrax decoders. This video is faster as I now know what I am doing. I like to help others in the community.
