7Here is a newer and a better DCC fitting tutorial guide for beginners to DCC. Here I am going to show how to fit the Zimo MX600R 8 pin DCC decoder into a Hornby DCC ready model train and to share some tips about where to mount the decoder to keep it cooler under load.
I am aware that this guide may not be applicable to experienced DCC users that know all this stuff. That said, I think it is only fair to help those that are inexperienced with DCC. DCC is a wonder system as it does have many benefits over the analogue systems and more tutorials for other model train brands are coming soon.
