After being repeatedly burned to ashes last episode, just for returning our library books late, So the temptation of trying to fight The Librarian again was low on the agenda, and we just zipped through The Sprawl asap!
Went for a hard hitting, but moreover (largely) self-sufficient party. Sacrificing party heals for lots of: mobility, stress relief, dots, and direct damage!
Party from back to front rank was: Grave Robber - Jester - Highwayman - Leper
Despite trying to avoid bosses in The Sprawl, the temptation to poke an altar in the Academics Study was too much lol. I knew it would summon The Shambler, and this was the first boss we'd encountered that had been in DD1. I was curious what had changed, and if anything he was considerably easier to beat.
The rest of it was fairly standard; with a (mostly) successful effort vs. The Dreaming General once again. We lost our Grave Robber rather unluckily, but he is still 2 for 2. More frustratingly, the replacement party member was the Hellion, who wasn't a good fit for the now deceased Grave Robber.
So we pushed on to the Mountain, and despite making a much more solid effort against the Confession of Denial this time, it was another party wipe...
A solid haul of Candles of Hope though - so we finished back at the Altar of Hope with more upgrades to spread about!
