DDO Alternate Stats to Hit and Damage in 2022 — Charisma
So everyone's looking to make a one-stat-fits-all build, and some DDO streamers spend all their time exploiting every Charisma build under the sun, so I figured I'd shine some light on the more underappreciated elements of alterative stats to stuff. Today's wonderful entry: Charisma. I love the way charisma was described to me one time as the ability to enforce your mental will upon someone else (which could conceivably cover all of the uses of charisma in-game). Unfortunately, that's just not the way it's dealt with in DDO. In DDO, intelligence and wisdom make sense, as one is the expert craft of materials and the other is a wealth of knowledge about concentrated lethality. One usually succeeds in designing quality out of garbage (sorry alchemist, but there are some things being related to an artificer just can't help), and one knows where to hit a dood to endz him.
Charisma always came across to me as a man who is, truly, too sexy for his shirt, too sexy for this Earth, and (considering that there are no distinctions between Earth and *INSERT FANTASY LAND WHERE EVERYTHING IS THE EXACT ****ING SAME! HERE*) that means people just collapse where the pretty man go. And so the pretty man go to loot, and the pretty man go to sell, and the pretty man go to... Well, you get the idea. I don't like charisma to damage, but since it's out there, it oughta be covered.
