I could have hit the "tick tock" clock break a lot better if I was more familiar with the song, but oh well, that's what I get for just going into it blind. I was going to go for it at 2:12 but then I realized that it wasn't like 1:04 where it the tick tock sound really stands alone. Oh well.
This was another really fun song to do, it's got a lot of hits and changeups that are really great energy. Again, probably could do it better if I was more familiar with all of the hits. Maybe I should try revisiting the same song again.
Getting down on the ground worked well, I need to remember to do more of that. More level changes is always good, we all know that, right?
I think I could do a better job of putting in more popts and hits since this song is so heavy on them, which would help contrast better with the verse sections. Also more speed variations. Speed variations are the key, I need to remind myself. Now I really want to give this another shot.
That said, I like how my overall movement is developing. I think I need to get more familiar with different stances and especially more wide open movements like I did at 2:05, that hit was really nice.
The behind the back stuff looks pretty decent, yay!
