It was originally meant to be a barn in the middle of a farm, but then the rest of the level's style developed and it became a cold, dark reminder of what a bomb can do. This used to be a beautiful house until the terrorists from the corporation came and blew it up to make way for new factories.
Middle was the first area that I made for this map, from the word go I wanted a complex area that could play as an aim map in its own right. I did this by having two passage ways with a raised platform in the middle. Both sides have different strengths and weaknesses and even now I'm often surprised by what my opponents do in this area.
