Dead Effect: The Spooktober Spooktacular - 04 - Data Fields
Whenever a game decides to add a slow-mo power without any real reason behind it I'm reminded of the "mullet time" rant that one guy had in Alan Wake. Although it looks like the bullets are modeled as projectiles that can be seen in midair when you slow down time, and there's enough frames in the firing and reloading animations so that it doesn't look off. So someone clearly put in the effort, but... again, why is it there?
Speaking of things with no real reason behind them, in retrospect the upgrade system seems somewhat poorly thought out. Upgrading damage doesn't seem to be worth it since most enemies die in a single headshot, accuracy is pointless because all the fighting takes place at short range, and reload speed gives such tiny bonuses that you'd need to fully upgrade it in order to notice a difference.
