Zombies, therefore spooky, therefore October. There haven't been a lot of horror FPSes in the past few years, and the ones further back that I haven't gotten to yet are either buggy as hell (Call of Cthulhu, You Are Empty) or played to death (Bioshock). But, we make do.

There's a bit of mixed signals with regards to who actually made this game. Some sources say inDev Brain, the website itself says BadFly Interactive. Maybe they changed their name or something, I don't know. It's also three gigabytes in size, which is... still kind of small for a game that came out in 2013.

As tired as "veteran male soldier in his late thirties or early forties" is as a protagonist, "hyper-competent female soldier on par with the vet but at least a decade younger" is also pretty bad. Bonus points if she doesn't have anywhere near the muscle mass to do what she's expected to do. I guess what I'm getting at is that the world needs fewer River Tams and more Vasquezes. If this means fewer Joss Whedons, hell, I'm all for it.
