Dead Island 2 just released, in April 2023 after being set for a Q2 2015 release and after all this waiting, the game being passed around multiple development studios I really thought we would get more especially playing the game on the Xbox Series X. I have only played an hour so far but that hour was really underwhelming, it really just feels like a typical zombie survival game at the start and my Dead Island 2 first impressions, I'm not impressed at all especially after spending £80 on it and I hope that the rest of the game makes up for it.

I'm showing you the combat so that you can see exactly what it's like, having to hit a zombie 5 or 6 times with a sword to down them isn't great but this isn't a Dead Island 2 review, this is my first hour with the game, my opinion and thoughts on it so far and it feels like a 2015 game at the beginning for me personally.
