In today's video, we look at the sequel to the original Dead Island, in a new zombie outbreak set right in the heart of Hell-A. While Dead Island 2 IS a fun zombie game, the story feels lacking and confusing, and having small bite-sized chunks for maps isn't really my favorite approach to an 'open world'.

However, the combat feels good, with a variety of melee and ranged weapons, skill cards to mix up your playstyle, and a pretty good soundtrack to slay zombies too.

Overall, Dead Island 2 is by no means a bad game, but it also isn't one of the best, and with other games like Dying Light 1/2 also being of the same genre, it doesn't feel like it stacks up to its competition.
