For quite a long while ever since I've unlocked this secret character, I've been wanted to try him out for this game. Since Hitomi is the new replacement for Ein in both DOA2 Ultimate and DOA3, also as Hayate is his original ninja self for DOA3~6, now he's back to this game once again as a standalone past variation of Hayate.
To me, he's like the previous version of Hitomi, as Hitomi shares the fighting style, but become more easier to use than Ein throughout the DOA series. Ein was absent in DOA3 cause as Hayate regained back his lost memories in DOA2 and returned back to his ninja self in DOA3, meaning Hayate is the new version of Ein. But now for Hitomi's story in this game, Ein made an returning appearance as a final opponent against Hitomi. Even though for being a secret unlockable characters in this game, just like Hitomi in DOA2 Ultimate, he cannot be used for story mode, since he's just an NPC for Hitomi's story, but Ein can still be use in other game modes beside story, and can still unlocks certain costumes for him as well by clearing time attack instead.
