Dead or Alive - PS1 Gameplay - Story Mode - Lei-Fang
3Gameplay footage of the Playstation port of Tecmo's Dead or Alive. A game which on the PS1 is nothing like what it is on the Sega Saturn or the Arcade system. Instead the PS1 port changes all the backgrounds/danger zones/remix's some of the music and adds in more costumes and then for added measure - gives us DOA2 Bass and Ayane as additional characters.
Gameplay here is of Lei-Fang in story mode. This version being ported to the PS1 from Sega Model 2 hardware had to be changed a fair bit considering the software used was completely different to what Tecmo used originally to create the game on the Saturn and the Arcades.
There was a rumoured N64 Version (According to the internet - take that with a grain of salt) which sadly got scrapped due to the limitations of the N64 systems.
