HunterX Code Name T - PC Review
The sequel to HunterX has arrived and it brings with it everything that made the previous game fun and enjoyable with a whole load of new features and a new main character.
If you a fan of Hack and Slash 2.5D style platformers then this is one you have to get. It simply gives you more of the same of what made HunterX so much fun and that's a good thing because in this you'll get lots of areas to explore, lots of abilities to unlock, dozens of weapons to master and loads of difficult boss battle.
A few small Q and A now for those interested:
Q: Is this DLC for HunterX? Do I need HunterX in order to play this.
A: No it's a separate game.
Q: Is this PC only or will it come to consoles too?
A: If your curious if this will be released on other systems then the answer is yes. The plan is the same as before with releasing this on the PC first and then the consoles later.
Q: Is this the full game or EA?
A: Full game.
Q: Does this run on Steam Deck ok?
A: Yep works perfectly fine. check the channel for a Gameplay video.
Q: How long is the game.
A: Obviously depends on your style of gameplay + if your able to handle the boss battles + if your looking for all the secret areas + 100% the game or not.
It's supposed to be 20-30% bigger than the last game and that took me around 20 hours on normal. So this is probably 30-40, even more if you decide to do the higher difficulty.
Q: With this being on Unity how well does it run?
A: It runs perfectly fine. Tested this on my PC with fan GPU and worked fine. Tested on Deck and worked fine. Tested on blower GPU and worked fine, only mildly was pushed harder but that's because blower model vs fan.
Q: Any DLC plans?
A: Apparently not but the Dev is already working on a sequel which is great news.
