It is easy to get through the cryo crypts without having to shoot.
I strongly recommend buying the ripper ASAP. It will take 7 nodes to hit 2 DMG nodes. IMO, it's worth it.

10:43 By standing by the left candles and using the ripper, you will never get hit by the Pack as long as you keep a blade going. However, if you stand in the middle of the doorway, they can get by your blade sometimes.
12:10 I made a horribly stupid mistake before going into this engagement, and it pissed me off for a couple of minutes. Notice the immediate effects on my accuracy for the duration of the time I'm pissed at myself.
16:00 Do not miss the Detonator schematic. This is probably one of the best weapons in the game. IMHO.
