So, Isaac enters the Valor, and the ship is already looking gruesome as it is. To make things worse, the soldiers that had been infected by the necromorphs had their Stasis Units merged with them. They're super fast and the only way to slow them down is to shoot the little blue spot on their torso. At least once they slow down, it's easily killings.

Not one single soldiers, neither their commander, Cadigan would've survived the onslaught. To be fair, they didn't know how to cut off limbs from necromorphs and it was all new to them. It's strange... the Valor had a nuclear warhead prepped for launch and all their soldiers were armed. It's like they were ready to take on the Ishimura, or blow it up in general.

Just as Isaac was about to get the singularity core, Hammond locks him out, with Necromorph Chen ambushing him. In his final moment, Hammond sacrificed his life to let Isaac get the core out from the Valor.

Why didn't you shoot him Hammond?
