I get the feeling we were gonna be ambushed while riding the train, but I guess not. Isaac makes his way to the Bridge where he attempts to get communications back online. Luckily, the USM Valor is here to save the day. But first, we need to get the communications array fixed up to establish further communications with the ship.

But as Isaac arrives at the Communications Array, we get to understand a little more of what happened. Somehow, First Comms Operator Bailey mentions Captain Mathius refusing to send out a distress call, even going as far as to take out the comms array just to keep everything silent. It's later revealed that Mathius is a part of Unitology, and is just trying to get ahold of the Marker on Aegis VII.

Either way, Isaac gets the communications array, to which a horrible revelation is revealed: The escape pod that Hammond ejected was retrieved by the USM Valor, and now things are going from disastrous to calamitous. To make matters worse, the Leviathan is still clinging to dear life, only to end up getting removed by Isaac.

Isaac survives the Valor crashing into the Ishimura, but there's still a glimmer of hope. Hammond found an executive ship but missing a singularity core. There is still one in the Valor, and hopefully, Isaac can get it in time.

Time to ditch the CEC for good.
