The Marker is there, somewhere in the Crew Deck. Somehow it's able to interfere with the communication devices Isaac and Daniels have been using. Fortunately, the Crew Deck key isn't far, so Isaac swoops in to collect it from the dead supervisor. Moving onto the next floor, Isaac has to witness yet another death: Mercer killing Temple with a nail gun.

The corruption has infested most of the room, and the only way to get rid of it is to run around the entire crew deck and destroy their weak points. But as Isaac walks around the deck, he stops and recalls a moment when he and Nicole had tension. Whatever happened, Isaac swears to himself he can fix it before it's too late, but little does he know...

For some reason, Terrence Kyne reappears again, showing Isaac the Hive mind, and asks for his assistance and delivering the Marker back to Aegis VII. Isaac agrees to help reluctantly, as he makes sure the engines are primed and ready to be used. Mercer gets in the way but dies by the very thing he so desires.

I was hoping he becomes a Necromorph, but death will do as well.
