Deadlink is a very fun game that combines fast paced shooting action with rogue elements, all Cyberpunk themed.
Add to that the fact that it runs fine, I suspect also on older PCs and you have a game that you can pick up quickly and not let go.
In Deadlink you have a 'secret agent' who is thrown into battle via the Deadlink Project in a kind of empty avatar.
This allows the agent to be tested in combat, but if it is destroyed you will lose everything except your life. z
o you are constantly thrown into the action and you feel yourself growing in skills. Pay attention, because where you get stronger and better every time, this also applies to your enemies and that results in an action loop where you are always on the edge of your seat.
For example, you have powers that are temporary and powers that are all-session, characteristic of rogue-likes, constantly changing the way you attack your enemies,
but you can also partially adjust the environment.
You notice that you are always in a kind of chess game, where the rules are always changing, but it is still fun to play. I say chess, but I'm talking about the depth and not the speed, because chess can be boring, while in Deadlink you don't have time to find things boring.
