You are stuck in an Arctic base. Keep the generators going to provide heat, survive the deadly penguin attacks and save your dog.
An excellent game.
I liked the setting.
Having the added task of keeping the heat going while fending off the penguins was a great idea.
Do read the instructions about the controls before you play otherwise you won't know how to reload.
It could also do with some in-game instruction telling you to call for help in order to start the attack or (like me) you will wander around for ages wondering when something will happen.
There could be less ammo of each type in order to make you select the different weapons? Although when I got the shotgun, it ran out quickly.
The dynamite was a bit hard to use and it did no damage (to me) when it went off in my hand.
I played a few times and like in this video, died without any real explanation. Maybe it could tell you why at the end?
At around 9 mins and 26 mins, there are 'invisible' penguins. You can hear them and you take damage but cannot see anything. Then you randomly shoot and see blood.
One of the waves got stuck when the penguin couldn't get through the window because of the existing pile of bodies. This is at the end of round 2, about 7 mins.
You can also shoot the penguins before they enter the building although they drop the ammo where you cannot reach it.
Does rescue ever come?
