I attempt a new run after the new update. Losing all the progress I had amassed to this point was a bit of a letdown. But I am digging the new system. You receive a different item or perk at the end of each area as you progress. You find less equipment drops and weapon drops, but you can upgrade what you do find and change the abilities attached to them. There are also new areas like the Bar, and even new enemy types like the Sheild bots. Overall, I'm really enjoying the new update.
